I can’t believe it’s two weeks into the new year already! This means that OSSBarCamp is getting closer, March 28th, put it on your calendar. However next up on the OSS event calendar is FOSDEM . For all of us that are Open Source Software lovers, FOSDEM is one of the biggest events of the year here in Europe. FOSDEM is the Free and Open Source Software Developers’ European Meeting, held at the ULB Campus Solbosh in Brussels, Belgium. It is on February 7th and 8th, with a yummy Belgian beer networking (sampling) event on the night of Friday 6th.

When I attended last year there was 4000 people, 200 talks, 2 days and it was awesome. Oh did I mention the event is free? Any other Ireland OSS people reading this coming along too?  Please leave us a comment.
